11 beers, $6.50. Sockeye Brewery in Boise, Idaho. Who knew Boise was home to so many good brewpubs?

Bad airport lighting aside, I discovered a new equation:
Airplane delay + walking trip + Vosage’s chocolate sale (?!?) = 1 happy project team this week.

I finally was able to take a walk over to the O’Hare indoor garden project between terminals 2 and 3 in Chicago. Very cool to see in person- I am curious who is actually using these plants, though.

Celebratory early dinner at Belly Shack. Hot and Sour soup with hominy, chicken and cilantro accompanied by an Asian pork meatball sandwich. And I haven’t been here before why?

My work here is complete. A fun project that involved a lot more time and a lot less effort than originally expected. Now what to make next…

It’s finally finished.  A bit more cinnamon than I would have liked, but should still taste good in an old-fashioned, or other bourbon/whiskey cocktails.

Earlier this month, I played in the WHO game in the Bay Area.  Instead of blogging about it here, I’ve decided to bring a smaller version of it to Chicago.  Why read about it when you can experience it first hand?
